Company Setup, Company Dictionary tab is under System Manager ⇒ HRPro Setup, Company Setup
The Company Dictionary allows you to define terms that override the System Translations. When the selected language is English, you can create a custom glossary of company-specific terms used across HRPro and the Employee Portal.
You can translate English into Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese.
You can also translate English to English, which lets you build a custom glossary to replace the system-defined terms. For example, you can change "Hourly Rate 3" to "Outdoor Hourly Rate."
The "English" column shows the original term in HRPro. It is either a Word or a Sentence.
The "Language" column specifies the target language for translation, with options including English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
The "Translate To" column is where you enter the translated statement.
The Company Dictionary can perform translations either "Word by Word" or "Sentence by Sentence." However, it is not advanced enough to recognize and translate individual words within the context of a sentence.
