How TO install .NET Framework 4.7.2?

In order to support and enhance secure communications using modern encryption protocols to outside servers (e.g. Web Services, SMTP Servers, etc), Web Client 18.10 and EPortal 18.10 required .NET Framework 4.7.2 or above to be installed on the Application Server. 

To install .NET Framework 4.7.2, do as follows:

1. On your Application Server, go to page https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework-runtime/net472.

2. Click the Download .NET Framework 4.7.2 Runtime button, and save the executable file.

3. Find the file in your Downloads folder, right-click it and select Run as administrator.

4. Tick the box to accept the license terms and click Install. The installation starts.

5. Once the installation is complete, click Finish.

Note: You must restart your computer to complete the installation.

(.NET Framework 4.7.2 or above is preinstalled on Windows 10 (version 1803 or above), Windows Server version 1803 or above, Windows Server 2019 or above.)
