The Expense Claims Autopay Payment Notification function sends an email notification to each employee after the expense claims autopay batch has been processed. This email confirms that their reimbursement has been paid through autopay.

What the Email Includes

The notification email displays:

• Total autopay amount for that employee

• Expense claim details that make up the total amount

Purpose

This function serves to notify employees of both:

1. The payment confirmation (that reimbursement has been processed)

2. The underlying expense items (broken down by individual expense claims)

By providing both the summary amount and the detailed breakdown, employees can verify their reimbursement matches their submitted expense claims and understand exactly which expenses were included in the autopay transaction.
