Late Deduction Type
Late Deduction Type is under Master.
The Late Deduction Type in HRPro is used to automatically deduct a specified amount from an employee's salary for arriving late to work. This feature enforces punctuality by applying financial penalties for tardiness. It helps ensure compliance with company attendance policies and promotes a culture of timeliness.
Late Deduction Type is to define the Rate of the Late Deduction (per minute) that the Late Deduction Type of the employee will be defined in Employee Master, Salary Info Tab.
The Tolerance (minutes per month), when set, is the maximum number of accumulated late In/early out minutes per month that is exempt by deduction.
i.e. If the Tolerance (minutes per month) is set to 30, if the employee accumulated late in/early out minutes is under 30 minutes, no deduction is performed,
When the Deduction Amount excluded this tolerance minutes is turned off,
perform the deduction as normal
e.g.
If the accumulated late in/early out minutes is 1 to 30, no deduction is performed.
If the accumulated late in/early out minutes is 31, deduction is 31 x $10 = $300
When the Deduction Amount excluded this tolerance minutes is turned on,
the deduction is based on Deduction minutes - Tolerance minutes
e.g.
If the accumulated late in/early out minutes is 1 to 30, no deduction is performed.
If the accumulated late in/early out minutes is 31, deduction is 1 x $10 = $10
