How to determine No Pay Leave Deduction? 

No Pay Leave Deduction = No Pay Leave Deduction Hourly Rate x No Pay Leave Hours, or

No Pay Leave Deduction = No Pay Leave Deduction Daily Rate x No Pay Leave Days 

depending on the option No Pay Leave Pay by (Hourly Rate/Daily Rate) in Payroll Module Setup, Payroll tab. Prorated Salary / No Pay Rate Basis panel. 

How to determine No Pay Leave Deduction Hourly Rate

If the No Pay Leave Rate Formula on the Employee Class, payroll tab is not empty, evaluate the User Defined Formula

If it is empty, determine the Number of Work Hours per Day (if Global Working Hours Employee, use the Work Hours per day, if Roster Employee, use the average work hours per day of the Leave Period). 

For Monthly rate employees, No Pay Leave Deduction Hourly Rate is Daily Rate (How to determine Daily Salary)  ÷ Number of Work Hours per Day. 

For Daily rate employees, No Pay Leave Deduction Hourly Rate is the Daily Salary (in Employee Appointment History) ÷ Number of Work Hours per Day.  

For Hourly rate employees, the No Pay Leave Deduction Hourly Rate is the Hourly Salary (in Employee Appointment History)

How to determine the No Pay Leave Hours 

For Global Working Hours Employees, 

If No Pay Leave Days read from Leave Module (in Payroll Module Setup, Payroll tab) is turned on, No Pay Leave Hours = the total number of days that the leave Nature are No Pay Leave, No Pay Working Day Leave, Sick Leave (No Pay),  Injury Leave (No Pay) x Work Hours per day in Global Working Hours

For Roster Employees, 

If No Pay Leave Days read from Leave Module (in Payroll Module Setup, Payroll tab) is turned on, No Pay Leave Hours = the total number of hours that the leave Nature are No Pay Leave, No Pay Working Day Leave, Sick Leave (No Pay),  Injury Leave (No Pay) 

If Treat Absent as No Pay Leave Deduction for Monthly Paid Employees (in Attendance Module Setup) is turned on and the employee is a Monthly rate employee, consider the number of absent days in Attendance Records within the Leave Period. 

If the First three months of Holiday Pay (in Payroll Module Setup, Payroll tab) is No Wage, consider the number of Statutory Holidays inside the payroll period as No Pay Leave Hours.

If the No Pay Leave Rate Formula on the Employee Class, payroll tab is not empty, evaluate the User Defined Formula

For Monthly rate employees, No Pay Leave Deduction Daily Rate is the Daily Rate (How to determine Daily Salary)  

For Daily rate employees, No Pay Leave Deduction Daily Rate is the Daily Salary (in Employee Appointment History

For Hourly rate employees, the No Pay Leave Deduction Daily Rate is the Hourly Salary (in Employee Appointment History) x Number of Work Hours per Day (if Global Working Hours Employee, use the Work Hours per day, if Roster Employee, use the average work hours per day of the Leave Period). 

How to determine the No Pay Leave Days

If the Pay Leave Days read from Leave Module (in Payroll Module Setup, Payroll tab) is turned on, the calculation for No Pay Leave Days is based on the total number of days associated with the following leave natures:

Summing up the days corresponding to these leave types will give you the total No Pay Leave Days count. 

If Treat Absent as No Pay Leave Deduction for Monthly Paid Employees (in Attendance Module Setup) is turned on and the employee is a Monthly rate employee. In that case, HRPro will treat the number of absent days in Attendance Records within the Leave Period as No Pay Leave Days. 

If the "First three months of Holiday Pay" (in Payroll Module Setup, Payroll tab or  Employee Class, payroll tab) is configured as No Wage and the employee is a Monthly rate employee,  HRPro will treat the number of statutory holidays within the payroll period as No Pay Leave days. This means that employees won’t receive payment for these statutory holidays during the initial three months.
