If a Roster Code is obsoleted. You can uncheck the Active checkbox to make it inactive.
Default Shift defines the Shift Code to be used if no roster is assigned on the day. Default Shift is applicable only if the checkbox option Use Default Shift if no Roster is defined in Master Setup is enabled. If the option is enabled, all days without the Shift assigned are treated as Default Shift. If the option is not enabled or the Default Shift is not defined, Leave Entry and Leave Application can not be processed if no shift is defined on that day.
You can amend the Description, Set the Roster Code inactive, and optionally change the Leave/Expense/Attendance Period Start Day.
You can define different Start Days for different Roster Codes, employees who are assigned this Roster Code will use these Leave Period, Expense Period, and Attendance Period settings. They can only amend when no employee is assigned this Roster Code.
