What's new in HRPro 19.09?

Welcome to the September 2022 release of HRPro. There are many updates in this version that we hope you will like, some of the key highlights include:

  • End of Support for Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Announcement - As the End of support from Microsoft for SQL Server 2012 is on 2022/07/12, the support for SQL Server 2012 running HRPro will end on 2022/12/31. HRPro version 20 (which will be released on 2023/01/01) will no longer support SQL Server 2012 as the database server. HRPro Customers running SQL Server 2012 are required to upgrade to SQL Server 2014/2016/2017/2019 before upgrading to HRPro version 20.

  • Added options Display Badge Counter on the menu to System Manager Setup.

  • Removed the check-box option Leave Chinese Name Blank for IR56B Text File in Taxation Module Setup, IR56B panel. As IRD no longer accepted IR56B Text File.

  • Added the options AllowGenerateIR56B2018 and AllowCreateIR56F2018 to HRPro.config settings.

  • An announcement from IRD: Starting from 14 August 2022, employers can upload or submit a data file containing not more than 5,000 IR56B records via the Employer Return’s e-Filing Services. They are not required to split the records into several data files with 800 records.

  • Combine the options Enable Attendance Data for OT Pay Calculation for Month-End Payroll Batch and Enable Attendance Data for OT Pay Calculation for Mid-Month Payroll Batch to OT Pay Calculation based on Attendance Records in Attendance Module Setup.

  • Added new check-box option Relevant Income considers MPFA Minimum Level of Income to Payroll Module Setup, MPF tab, Additional Voluntary Contribution panel.

  • Added new option Secure Socket Options to Company Setup, Email Server tab and Personal Options to cater for more SMTP server configurations.

  • Added new check-box option Allow Roster Assignment to create new roster schedules to Employee Portal Setup, Employee Self Service Tab.

  • Minor improvements and bug fixes.
