How to determine Wages for Hourly Rate Employees?

Wages for Hourly Rate Employee = Hourly Rate x Number of Worked Hours

Hourly Rate

There are 6 Hourly Rates per Employee that can be defined. Hourly Rate 1 to 6 is defined in Employee Master, Salary Info tab or Appointment History depending on the option Payroll Considers Appointment History in Payroll Module Setup, Payroll tab. 

If Enable Shift Differential Pay for Daily/Hourly Rate Employee (in Employee Master, Salary Info tab) of the employee is turned off (the default), only Hourly Rate 1 is applicable for HRPro to calculate the wages from Global Working Hours/Roster Table/Attendance Record. Otherwise, the Hourly Rate Employee will enable different hourly rates for different shift sessions. 

Number of Worked Hours

If Enable Shift Differential Pay for Daily/Hourly Rate Employee (in Employee Master, Salary Info tab) of the employee is turned off (the default), and 

If Pay hourly rate employees according to work schedule (in Payroll Module Setup, Payroll tab) is turned off (the default), 

Number of Hours 1 is the total number of Worked Hrs in Attendance Records(#1) within the Attendance Period. (you may consider turning on Worked Hrs excluded the time earlier than the Schedule In Time and Worked Hrs excluded the time later than the Schedule Out Time in Global Working Hours or Shift Code).

Number of Hours 1 is the total number of regular working hours defined in Global Working Hours or Roster Table within the Attendance Period - (Annual Leave Days + Holiday Days + Sick Leave Days + Maternity Leave Days) * Average Daily Work Hours within the Attendance Period. If Enable Shift Differential Pay for Daily/Hourly Rate Employee is turned on, and 

If Pay Regular Hours for Hourly Rate Employee is turned off, 

Number of Hours 1-6 is the total number of working hours in Attendance Records(#1) that the Shift Session 1-3 Hourly Rate is belonged to within the Attendance Period.

Number of Hours 1-6 is the total number of regular working hours defined in Global Working Hours or Roster Table that the Shift Session 1-3 Hourly Rate belongs to within the Attendance Period.
