Employee Master, Salary Info tab

Salary Info Tab is under MasterEmployee Master.

Salary Info tab is to defined the Salary related information, including the regular salary, allowance and other pays. 

A Pay Group consists of employees who must be paid on a specific Salary Pay Date during the Generate Payroll Batch process.

"Salary by" defines whether the employee is a Monthly Rate Employee, Daily Rate Employee, or Hourly Rate Employee. Selectable options are

When Daily Rate by Day Type or Hourly Rate by Day Type is selected, the Daily/Hourly Rate can be different on Weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays/Public Holidays. 

The checkbox Contract End Bonus determines whether the Bonus Amount is a regular monthly bonus or is only paid at the contract end period (according to the Contract End Date in Employee Master, HR Info tab).

Pay Types: Pay types are defined in the Payroll Module Setup. Pay-type items can be accessed through a look-up once they are defined. You can also apply a User Defined Formula to other pay types for regular payment.  Refer to "Pay Type and Pay Slip Display Name" for details.

O.T. Type (Workday): Specifies overtime types for work done after office hours, integrated with the attendance module.

O.T. Type (Rest day): Defines overtime type for rest days (and Off Days for Roster Employees) (Sunday/Holiday except Saturday, etc), integrated with the attendance module. 

O.T. Type (Saturday/Off): Defines overtime types for Saturdays or designated days off, integrated with the attendance module.

O.T. Type (SH): Specifies overtime types for statutory holidays, integrated with the attendance module.

O.T. Type (PH -SH): Defines overtime types for public holidays that are not statutory holidays, integrated with the attendance module.

O.T. Type (Call Back): Defines overtime types for call-back overtime scenarios, integrated with the attendance module.

O.T. Type (7–8): These are not linked to the attendance module unless different overtime rates are defined for various shifts. You can configure descriptions for O.T. Type 7 and 8 within the Payroll Module Setup, Pay Type Tab.

Sickness Allowance %, Injury Leave Allowance %, and Maternity Leave Allowance %: They are to define the percentage of the regular daily wage for Sickness Allowance, Injury Leave Allowance and Maternity Leave Allowance. If you wish to comply with the employment ordinance, it should be 80 (i.e. 4/5 of the Daily Wage).

Pay Slip Password: This field becomes available on this tab if the Employee Portal is not installed. If the Employee Portal is installed, the password used will be the one defined in the EPortal Tab

Do not generate mid-month payroll: When enabled, mid-month payroll will not be processed for this employee.

Do not generate zero-amount payroll: When enabled, payroll records with zero amounts for this employee will not be created.

Enable Shift Differential Pay for Daily/Hourly Rate Employee: Activating this allows hourly rate employees to have different pay rates for various shift sessions. Refer to the explanation for "Enable Shift Differential Pay for Hourly Rate Employee Explanation." for more details.

Maintain Cost Centres: If "Enable Multiple Cost Centres per Employee" is activated in Payroll Module Setup (found under System Manager ⇒ HRPro Setup ⇒ Payroll Module Setup, Payroll tab), you can input multiple cost centres per period using the "$ Maintain Cost Centres" button.
