How to Calculate Leave Days in Leave Entry and Leave Application

Non-Consecutive Days Nature

If the Leave Nature of the Leave Type is Non-Consecutive Days Nature (e.g. Annual Leave), Leave Days count Working Days between the Leave From and Leave To. (See What is Leave Nature?)

Consecutive Days Nature

If the Leave Nature of the Leave Type is Consecutive Days Nature (e.g. Sick Leave (Statutory), Sick Leave (Full Pay), Injury Leave (Full Pay), Injury Leave (No Pay), Injury Leave (Statutory), Maternity Leave, No Pay Leave, Statutory Holiday, Others (Full Pay), Reference) 

• Leave days are the Total Paid Days between the From Date and To Date (Total Paid Days is depending on Daily Salary based on settings, see "Daily Salary based on" Explanation. e.g. If Daily Salary based on is Calendar Days, every day is paid, if Daily Salary based on is Weekdays, Monday to Friday (optionally Saturdays)  are paid, Rest days are not paid, ONLY PAID DAYS ARE QUALIFIED AS LEAVE DAYS WHEN CONSECUTIVE DAYS NATURE)

• If Leave Nature is Sick Leave (Statutory), Injury Leave (Statutory), the option Statutory Sick Leave Days include Statutory Holiday (Recommend No) in Leave Module Setup, Sick Leave tab is considered. i.e. if the option is turned off, Leave Days excluded Statutory Holiday. • If Leave Nature is Sick Leave (Statutory), Injury Leave (Statutory), but the option Statutory Sick Leave Days count working days only (Recommend No) in Leave Module Setup, Sick Leave tab is turned on, Leave Days counts Working Days between the Leave From and Leave To.

• If Leave Nature is Sick Leave (Full Pay), Injury Leave (Full Pay), but the option Full Pay Sick Leave Days count working days only in Leave Module Setup, Sick Leave tab is turned on, Leave Days counts Working Days between the "Leave From" and "Leave To".

• If the Leave Nature is Paternity Leave, Leave Days always excluded Statutory Holiday.
