Punch Card

You can use Punch Card in Employee Portal to record your clock in-out time to replace or supplement the function of the traditional attendance device to update the Attendance Record in the Attendance Module.

To turn on Punch Card, go to Employee Portal Setup, Employee Self Service tab, Enable Functions panel and check Enable "Punch Card".

For employees, Show Punch Card in Employee Master, EPortal tab and Enable Attendance Record in Employee Master, HR Info tab must be turned on.

If Enable GPS Location is turned on in Employee Portal Setup, Employee Self Service tab, Employee Portal is trying to locate the GPS location of the browser. If GPS location is available (usually only mobile devices can provide accurate location information), the GPS location will be recorded as a Device in the Attendance Record.

Please note that Punch Card considers Check-Out Cut-Off Hour (in Global Working Hours/Shift Code) for the overnight shift. Say if the punch time is on or before Check-Out Cut-Off Hour (set to 05:00) e.g. 04:13, Punch Card will treat the punch date as the last day date (yesterday) and the punch time becomes current time + 24 (28:13).
