Employee Portal Setup, Overtime Compensation tab is under System Manager ⇒ HRPro Setup, Employee Portal Setup

General Functions

When OT From/To validate against Check In/Out Time is turned on, applicants must provide the Overtime time range out of their normal working hours when applying for Overtime Compensation. If it is turned off, OT Time is the time difference of the given OT From/To. 

When OT From/To validate against Attendance Records is turned on, applicants must provide the Overtime time range that is recorded as overtime in Attendance Record

The radio buttons When compensated by Compensation Leave, Entitlement on is to set the Adjustment Date of the created Leave Adjustment upon the Overtime Compensation Approval. Which is good for determining the preferred Compensation Leave Expiration date (i.e. if the Com Leave Entitlement Retention Days in Leave Module Setup, General tab is set).  

If Allow Overtime Compensation compensated by OT Pay is turned on, you may consider turning off Enable Attendance Data for OT Pay Calculation for Month-End Payroll Batch and Enable Attendance Data for OT Pay Calculation for Mid-Month Payroll Batch in Attendance Module Setup, General tab, other settings panel. (See How to determine OT Pay?). 

The radio buttons When compensated by OT Pay, Payroll Period covered is to set how the payroll covered the Approved Overtime Compensation Application. 

If it is set to OT Date, the payroll covered the approved applications that the OT Dates are within the Attendance Period. (e.g. Payroll Period 2021/01 covered the Approved OT Compensation Applications that the Attendance Period of the OT Dates are 2021/01). 

If it is set to Approval Date, the payroll covered the approved applications that the Approved Dates are within the Attendance Period. (e.g. Payroll Period 2021/01 covered the Approved OT Compensation Applications that the Attendance Period of the Approved Dates are 2021/01). 

If Allow Unapproved Overtime Compensation Application Withdrawal is turned off, the applicant is not allowed to withdraw (delete) his/her unapproved Overtime Compensation application.

Overtime Compensation by Whole Day

When Com Leave based on days, allow OT by Whole Day is turned on, Overtime Compensation by Whole Day is allowed for Overtime Compensation Application. 

When Minimum OT Days to Compensate is defined. The applicant must apply at least the defined days when applying to OT Com by a whole day. 

When Maximum OT Days to Compensate is defined. The applicant must apply not more than the defined days when applying OT Com by a whole day. 

Overtime Compensation by AM/PM

When Overtime Compensation by AM/PM is turned on, OT Com by AM/PM is allowed for Overtime Compensation Application. 

Overtime Compensation by Time

When Allow Overtime Compensation by Time is turned on, OT Com by Time is allowed for this Overtime Compensation Application. 

When Minimum OT Minutes to Compensate is defined. The applicant must apply at least the defined minutes when applying OT Com by time. 

When Maximum OT Minutes to Compensate is defined. The applicant must apply not more than the defined minutes when applying OT Com by time. 

When Allow OT Hours only in multiples of is defined. The applicant must apply the OT Com hours for the increment of the predefined hour when applying OT Com by time. E.g. if Allow OT Com Hours only in multiples of 0.5 hours, the applicant must apply OT Com by time for 0.5 hours, 1.0 hours, 1.5 hours, 2.0 hours, etc. 

Approval Workflow

Approver 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 to define the number of Approvers required and the approver sequence for Overtime Compensation Approval.
