Welcome to the May 2026 release of HRPro. This version includes several updates that we hope you will appreciate. Some of the key highlights include:
Renamed Com Leave Based on Hours (not days) to Compensation Leave Balance Unit in Leave Module Setup, General tab.
Set the default font in PDF Reports from "Arial Unicode MS" to "Microsoft YaHei" to improve Chinese character rendering and readability across modern systems.

Added an "Open eTax" button for easier access to the IRD eTax portal in HRPro.
Added the option Retain columns with zero totals to Report Options in Report Control.

End of Support Announcement for Microsoft SQL Server 2016 - Microsoft has announced that extended support for SQL Server 2016 will end on July 14, 2026. In alignment with this timeline, HRPro will discontinue support for deployments running on SQL Server 2016 effective December 31, 2026. As a result, HRPro 24, released on January 1, 2027, does not support SQL Server 2016 as a database server. Customers currently using SQL Server 2016 are advised to upgrade to SQL Server 2017, 2019, 2022, or 2025 before upgrading to HRPro 24. Early planning and upgrading will help ensure a smooth transition and avoid potential service disruptions.
